Events and festivals are often held randomly and spontaneously in Nimbin, it is not a rare sight to see... jazz on the footpath, drumming at sunset or firedancing in the streets, with such an artistic and innovative community anything could happen and often does.

The AQUARIUS FAIR markets are held on the third Sunday of every month in the Community center grounds in Cullen Street, featuring, live music, local products and yummy food from all over the world for vegetarians and carnivores.

The MARDIGRASS DRUG LAW REFORM RALLY happens every year in May.
