Aine is a ceramic artist specializing in one-off sculptural pieces referencing human relationships and their relationship to the landscape. The work, which is principally about form and line, also has social, political and cultural aspects which relate to living in this region.

In 1999 Aine won the Coraki Tea Tree Festival Art Prize for "Best in Show" and participated in several exhibitions throughout the region as well as on the Gold Coast.
Vessel for the last water, is published in RAW Regional Women Artists & Writers Diary 2000.
An Older Growth (3 elements @ 140cm tall) can be viewed currently at the East Coast Sculpture Show, Thursday Plantation Laboratories, Pacific Highway, Ballina. Cycles of nature and Zen principles are the subject of this garden piece.
Using paperclay as her medium Aine will mount her first solo exhibition, entitled Relationscape, at Lismore Regional Gallery from 27 April to 27 May 2000.
This project is supported by a Pat Corrigan Artist Grant, managed by NAVA (National Association for the Visual Arts) with financial assistance from the Australia Council. A photograph of the original 'Scape' can be seen in the current issue of Ceramics Technical on page 92.
