Re-Legalising Cannabis- Newww approaches for a new millennium

A 2-day fully cyberised summit to map and plot Cannabis WWWebolution!

Monday & Tuesday 8 & 9 May 2000
(at a secret location in the hills outside Nimbin, Australia)

The First Cannabist Internationale will be a meeting of people serious about being web effective in the struggle to re-legalise cannabis and end the Drug War. Catering for web beginners and web sophisticates, the Internationale will fully equip you with the networking skills needed to operate as an effective local cell for cannabis law reform.

The Internationale will plan and organise the Freedom Ride for next July & August.

The Internationale will be fully catered (vegetarian). Catering charge: $20 per mouth per day. Accommodation will be rough and minimal. Come prepared to camp.

Sunday 7 May 2000

5.00 pm Freedom Ride Rolling Road Show departs the ACLRM Nimbin “Good Medicine” Mardi Grass CyberQuarters in Peace Park.

6.00-8.00 pm Circling the wagons, setting up camp and plugging in.

8.00-8.45 pm Supper

8.45-9.00 pm Welcome - introductions all around and an audit on the information technology skill base.

9.00 pm on Night Owl Networking Session - a tour of international cannabis cyber space led by the webmaster of the ACLRM to first, acquaint participants with websites and services of the global cannabis law reform movement and then collect the Global reports from the world wide Millennium Marijuana March "Jay Day" Demonstrations.

11.15-11.30 am Morning Tea

11.30-12.30 pm Jay Day Reality Check!!

Small group report back on "where it’s at" with global cannabis law reform.

1.00-2.00 pm Global Activist Chat hosted by mapinc.org
A global chat in the biggest cannabis law reform chat room.

9.00-10.15 am Revving up Cannabis Law Reform - a brainstorming session for strategies and tactics

10.15-11.00 am A Pre-Olympic Amnesty for Prisoners of the Drug War - dreaming up, and planning, a Freedom Ride which will visit NSW jails during July and August, count the prisoners of the Drug War and agitate for an amnesty before the Sydney Olympic Games begin in September.

11 .00-11.30 am Morning tea

11.30-12.30 pm Small group planning sessions and report back for the Freedom Ride

12.30-1.30 pm Lunch

1.30-4.20 pm Directions and Policy for the ACLRM - resolutions, business and final networking.
